I was a crew member on the 280mm. 1953-1957 in Germany. Somebody asked who checked it if it didn't fire - a 2d LT

Ahhh, brings back wonderful memories. I had the privilege of this great lady sitting and chatting with me in a nightclub in Weisbaden Germany in 1956. I have an autographed picture and saw all he4 movies, some at least 3 or more times. Anybody remember her and Carol Burnette's TV variety show,...

Thanks for posting this. I knew this wonderful girl in the mid '80's. She was the vocalist at Marina Bay in Florida. It's a shame this wonderful and talented lady never made it big....

Rode C-5's several times Space A from US to Germany and back. Unfortunately they break a lot and you may or may not get a ride. The AF is upgrading them (they are old planes) but the ride is free!!!

Sure hope you're not planning to ratrod a Stearman or Waco. I had a cap & goggles like those during WWII ( I was a kid then - LOL - now 76)

Spent three years of my youth (1954-57) in BK at Des Gouttes Kaserne - now long gone. Wonderful time, great people and I've been back 4-5 times, the latest in 2009. Walked these streets many nights, some sober, some not so sober. Capri Bar was my favorite night spot.
