☼Hi! My name is Sara Mary Lopez! I love to go by Saramary. I was born and raised in upstate NY in a little town called Gilbertsville. When I was 17 my mother passed away from breast cancer. Her and my father are my biggest sources of inspiration.☼

☼When I was in my early 20's I was blessed to meet my now husband. It seemed like an unusual relationship. I'm kind of "hippie" and he's a military man. He's been on two deployments to Iraq since we've been together. Both of the deployments were a year long each. It would seem like an unlikely love but we worked through it and grew stronger.☼

☼I went through a long period of time where I didn't play or write. My husband bought me a piano so that I could start to play again. January 2009 I started making videos online. I found a great new start on my musical journey with YouTube. It's been a long road but I have hopes to get back out there and perform.☼

☼When I saw that "America's Got Talent" was holding a YouTube audition I tried out. I didn't make one of the top 40 finalists but I'm very glad that I gave it a shot and I wish everyone the very best!☼

☼I'm currently entered into the Susan Boyle, "Susan Search" competition. I have my fingers crossed!☼

☼So, I've made that all important next step in my music and I've started performing at "Mac's Tavern" in Cary NC every Wednesday night for their Open Mic Nights http://www.macstavern.net/ Hosted by Bill West http://www.billwestmusic.com/ ☼

☼I'm still in the process of getting a mic and some better recording equipment. But, every step is one step closer to my dream of making a CD and getting my music out there!☼
