At the age of two, Sarah Jackson could sing before she could talk, and she could dance before she could walk. Sarah grew up in a very small desert town in southern California, where she was influenced by her parents Doug and Patty Jackson who were worship leaders in various Christian churches throughout the tri-state area. This upbringing brought with it a longing to devote her talents to the greater Good. Sarah's 'parents divorced, forcing her to play the role of mother to her three younger sisters at a very young age. Sarah went on to win several talent contests and regional competitions in Nevada, Arizona, and California. She even earned several diverse vocal awards in Broadway musical pieces, Italian opera, praise and worship, R&B, Country Solo, and Country Group. Soon after turning 21, Sarah Jackson moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. She had aspirations of making a living using her vocal abilities. That didn't happen...she spent most of her time there working on the Vegas strip promoting timeshare, working for various casinos and selling oxygen-yes, OXYGEN! After a corrupt employer stole her wages, having tested her Pride and Faith to a near breaking-point. Employment became a luxury instead of a constant, making Sarah and her husband homeless 3 times in a two year time-span! In spite of all odds and obstacles, Sarah desires to discover the lessons to be learned through these hard times and to find the strength inside herself to move passed the demoralizing circumstances in her life and NOT to let them define her as a person and an artist. After nearly 2 years of homelessness and more than 4 years of several attempts and failures, Sarah has learned more than ever before that pursuing your dreams is no easy feet and neither is trusting God! But both are vital to a LIFE worth living! "WALK BY FAITH-NOT BY SIGHT!"-SARAH JACKSON (easier said)
