My background begins with yoga in 1997 and in 2000 I began to include chi gong (Chinese energy cultivation exercises) into my daily yoga practice. In 2005 I began studying a Chinese internal health and martial arts system, known as Wu Dao Gong in Canberra. By 2007 I had put my yoga practice on hold to focus solely on Wu Dao Gong. By 2008 I moved from Wu Dao Gong into learning Hun Yuan tai chi. It was in 2009 that I reincorporated yoga back into my health practice. Through my training I have developed strength, ordination, patience, increased health and vitality, and learned to be sensitive and aware of things that cultivate my energy and those that take it away. Since 2009 I have focused solely on Yoga and tai chi and have been enjoying the journey.
