I am an avid runner, biker and swimmer.I have competed in 7 races this season ending with a Half and a Whole Marathon. I have done very well and hope to continue my running for as long as it's enjoyable.I am a very energenic and determined person. Very passionate for many things. I am an advocate for Parkinson's and am part of PAN (Parkinson's Action Network). I went to Washington D.C. this year and called on my Congressmen and Senators from my state to let them know the needs for people with Parkinson's.I ran for Team Parkinson and raised money for them. I am now part of a Team for the Unity Walk held in New York in Central Park to raise money for Parkinson's Disease.Thousands of people with Parkinson's walk this unity walk each year, hoping someday soon there will be a cure. I love animals and especially the Boxer breed. They are truly wonderful dogs and the sweetest and kindest I have ever known.I have one now and just lost another, who was the love of my life. He was the best friend I've ever known.
