That's a bit too generous. This would scare the shit out of most emo kids. Anything harder than Bright Eyes or ADTR is intimidating.

This sounds like Green Day trying to be a more masculine Linkin Park, both trying to emulate Whitechapel or Cannibal Corpse but not having the balls to do so.

a classic samples tune with great jamming potential, especially in the greatly syncopated middle section -- almost Umphrey's-esque.

This version is light years ahead of his solo version: it's so much deeper, more nuanced, less crap, really.

I love this song! It's such a dark horse on React, but I'd kill to hear it live. Just the way they build up that final chorus is beautiful.
