The Symposium is co-sponsored by the Energy Policy Initiatives Center and the San Diego Journal of Climate and Energy Law. Tales of Fraud and Corruption
William F. Browder and Robert P. Smith have both personally experienced the good and the bad sides of doing business in emerging markets, and CNN's Fareed Zakaria has described Browder's experience as a real-life thriller with a tragic ending that will soon be made into a Hollywood movie.
The panel, entitled Tales of Fraud and Corruption: Corporate Governance in Emerging Markets, discusses the risks and rewards of investing in emerging markets such as Russia and Turkey.
