Stuff that I don't think anyone else has posted.
About Me:
Those days, or nights at Stoke have long gone, but not my love for the sounds that made me climb into a van every Saturday for the long trip from Gloucester, or cadging a lift to Yate.
My Northern Soul collection has always been fluid, swapping one great track for another, or loaning singles out on what appears to be a 99 year lease. Why is it that you can't remember where a girl moved to? And when by chance you do run into them, they are always with a 6'6" shaven headed, tattooed husband who's just been thrown out of Strangeways prison for being too violent.
My Motown sounds in contrast have grown faster than the national debt. Thanks to car boot sales, ebay and the many CD's now available, I must have between 5 and 10,000 tracks. Considering that The Andantes appeared on an estimated 20,000, I've still got a long way to go, that's what I tell my missus anyway.
I have tried not to duplicate other people's postings, unless it is an alternative version or a different speed.
Many of the songs I am posting may not be what I would have gone out to buy, but may be of interest to someone who has not come across them before, and wherever possible I have included some info about the track.
If there is a Motown track that you'd like, just let me know. The law according to sod will probably mean that it's one that I haven't got, but you never know.
KTF.

I've recently come across some Marvin Gaye tracks that have had all vocals and instrumentation separated, very well indeed.
A couple of days ago, I uploaded a video (Grapevine) which included Marvin's vocals and James Jamerson's bass only. It sounds well cool.
Youtube, for whatever reason, have disabled it, but I can nominate 25 people to see the vid, so if you are interested, let me know and I'll add you.
All the best.
