We Met Lori Bales' Mom...
i'm really sad that as you were saying "where's lori bales? where's lori bales?" and an inexplicably and increasingly panicked sort of way lori didn't either: 1) rise slowly from the bottom cut of the frame with a stern look on her face holding joel booster's ear between her thumb and fore-finger 2) emanate slowly from the right cut of the frame with "" (see above) 3) apparate next to her mother and shout "accio bo's camera!" by the way: "vicious" is the new "fierce." smoore (2 weeks ago)

dealing with a poorly laid tangent in an improv situation is ridiculously frustrating. but the basic "yes, and..." philosophy has always been the basis for any solution i've ever found. just take it, use it, drop it, and move on. it may be weird, but it'll keep the scene going. smoore (3 months ago)

holy christ. do you keep a hazer around your place just for random dance parties? well played. i took an improv class in school that would be more accurately called "audition, cold reading, and rehearsal techniques," and the best advice i ever got regarding sides was as simple and practical as folding the thing over and holding it with one hand practically at eye level so you can glance at it and generally maintain eye contact with your scene partner. eye contact & in the moment = woot. smoore (3 months ago)
