Hi, My name is Rob Wilson and I live in Pasadena, CA. I love singing. I began teaching myself to sing at age 14 when I got inspired by hearing an operatic tenor for the first time. I trained and excersized my voice for about 8 years until I got a classical tenor singing voice. I eventually became more interested in other styles of singing and music. I like jazz,pop,r&b,classical and especially well sung gospel.

The Voice: In 2006 I had to learn to sing all over again after a 9 year layoff due to some cancerous looking thing on one of my cords, Surgery in 2004 and 2006 changed my original sound from tenor and the way I operated the voice instrument. I had to learn to open the whole throat and nasal passage in the same way it feels when we YAWN, if you can imagine that feeling. I had to learn to do this to get around that which I lost due to the removal of surface cells from my left vocal cord. Makes the voice sound heavier and fuller now. Now I have to make up for lost time.
