The aim is to raise the pressure in the manifold, Its not looking at massive volumes of compression, just enough to raise the volumetric efficiency of the engine. And on 8 Valves, thats quite easily done with this little addon.
I think it would have a lesser effect on a 16V+ but that all depend...
