Sam has a sound that reaches far beyond his age. Dave Navarro has said, Sam is "among the next level of inspirational guitarists." Johnny A. has said that he hears a similarity to Carlos Santana and Joe Satriani.
Originally a drummer, all types of music and guitar playing influence Sam's writing; from Classic and Contemporary Rock, and Jazz. You can hear some of these hard grinding licks on his guitar as well as the double bass drumming.

Sam youth keeps him progressive and his maturity allows him to bring a vision of his original music into the studio.

Summer of 08, Sam played a benefit concert for a friend with cancer at the legendary Double Door in Charlotte, NC. Not only did he have the honor of raising money for a good cause, he also at 12 years old, stood on the same stage at the same age as Derek Trucks.

December 08, legendary blues guitarist Bob Margolin (Muddy Waters) asked Sam to open for him at the "Double Door."

Sam continues to try to expand his genra and attended The North Carolina School of the Arts studying Classical Guitar summer of 08.

Sam recently attended Guitar Sessions at Berklee College of Music, Boston, Mass. August 09. He received a scholarship from Fender Guitars and is the youngest student ever to be accepted in the program.

Sam continues to play live shows and write new music. Check back for up comming shows.
