I am humbly requesting the international community to please sanction the Government of Sri Lanka and put pressure on them to halt war immediately. I am also requesting a halt to any military aid to Sri Lanka because the GoSL uses it to kill innocent civilians-63,000 Tamils since 1983.

Please help end state terrorism of Sri Lanka.

Since resuming war, the Sri Lankan army has killed more than 6290 Tamils. Aerial bombardment of civilian areas caused heavy casualties of innocent civilians. Government targets have included schools, hospitals, administrative buildings and other civilian ares.

GoSL crimes over 2 decades:
63,000- Tamil deaths
1,000,000 Tamils forced to become refugees abroad
1,300,000-Total Internal displacement of Tamils over 2 decades
300,000 Internally Displaced Tamils in the current conflict alone
17 Journalist shot to death in Sri Lanka
200,000 Tamil refugees who fled to India

Media Bias:

No coverage of the terrible suffering Tamils in Sri Lanka.

Western media reported "7000 Sri Lankan civilian", and refused to identify ethnically distinct TAMILS as the civilian victims.

Western media reported "shooting on both side-tigers and military", but
4000 Tamil fighters vs. 100,000 strong Sri Lankan military.

Hippocracy:
Western media reports "blast in Sri lanka" and "70,000 civilians killed as a result of war between two side". There is no mention of who is responsible for the blast. It is meant to implicate Tamils, even when committed by GoSL.

No mention that majority of the 70,000 civilians were Tamils or they killed by military bombardments.

Western media highlights single incidents of suicide bombing by Tigers, but fails to mention 1000s of Tamil civilian deaths *( men, women and children) caused by aerial bombardment and chemical weapons.

West bans Tiger leader, Prabaharan, as terrorist. But, negotiates with Rajapakse, who is responsible for the deaths of 1000s of Tamils civilians in Sri Lanka.

Very light to minimal sanctions on the Government of Sri Lanka, who refused ceasefire from Tamils multiple times.

West bans the LTTE, who posed no threat outside of Sri Lanka.

GoSL forces ethnic Tamils from their homeland and permanently relocates them in camps.

Secretary Ban Ki Moon, why negotiate with
Rapakse the terrorist??? Why negotiate with Sri Lanka??? Why not recognize ethnic differences between Sinhalese and Tamils??? Why say Sri Lankan and not Tamil civilians???
