At age 16, she began studying acting. Her first acting breaks came in 2004 when Catherine Hardwicke cast her as Johnny Knoxville's girlfriend in the "Lords of Dogtown". She has since appeared in several television shows and short films including CSI: New York and in 2007 she helped produce and star in a short film "That Guy" directed by Peter Winther also starring Peter Facinelli.

Her first big role in a feature came in 2007 in "Return of the Outlaws" a western released through Lionsgate.

Outside of acting hobbies include Bikram Yoga, fine art painting and known for being the creator of a very unique line of jewelry designed for women to wear live flowers, Fleurings.

She is the daughter of the veteran actor Gary Lockwood from "2001: A Space Odyssey" and actress/entrepreneur Denise DuBarry founder of Thane International, Kaswit and Blue Moxie Entertainment.
