In February 2009 I decided to stop Sama karate style for another. I now practice Kyokushinkai the strongest karate.
It is a completely different style so I had to learn very quickly the new moves and katas while being assessed to what kyu I would officially join as. I took my grading in July and was passed at 6th kyu level. I also took part in my first clicker mini-tournament in 26th July and came 3rd for team and individual contests. I practice twice weekly for two hours in the dojo and at home every day. I have a long way to go to become a shodan but Im determined to work hard as its my goal in life. I enjoyed my 3 years with Sama but with Kyokushinkai there are many more opportunities for competitions both here in the U.K and Europe, who knows maybe one-day Japan, now theres a real goal.
I like steam trains and my favourite is the Mallard..but my latest passion is Lego star wars.....and bionicles yeah man!!!!
