GIFTS Film Media Intensive Course 2008
First, I would like to thank the Driftwood http://www.driftwood.bc.ca/ for sponsoring the contest that gave me the opportunity that I might not otherwise have had to collaborate in the dramatic process at the media intensive course at G.I.F.T.S. on Galiano Island from Sept 14-20th.
At the week long media intensive, we divided into four teams. Two teams were documentary groups and the other two were dramatic groups. We produced two documentary shorts and two short dramatic productions. Its important to keep in mind that these videos are examples of people working as a team and taking a collaborative approach to putting the feature together. This kind of collaboration has its challenges, no one person has complete control over the creative content, so what you see is what you get.
I'm happy to have had input in three of the productions. More info is pasted under the individual videos.
The playlist is in the order that the films were presented in, on screening day at GIFTS.
Some of the scene locations will be posted on Google Earth.

Salt Spring Time-Machine
This is a collection of Salt Spring Classics. A mix of old stuff related to personalities and events that took place on the island. Some of this stuff was converted from VHS or standard DVD. The descriptions are worth reading as the videos may or may not be self-explanatory.
