Salsabor Y Cache dance company was formed in 1997 when director, Rogelio Moreno was able to realize his long time aspiration to direct a company of salsa dancers. Rogelio took a unique approach to selecting his dancers and decided to recruit people that were mostly untrained and inexperienced, but were dedicated and had a strong love and passion for salsa music and dance. Dancers of diverse backgrounds and nationalities such as Cuban, Central American, South American, Mexican and American were selected to form what was to become one of the most successful and dynamic dance companies in the world.
