Agreed...Robbins is my favorite film composer...shamefully underrated. Every soundtrack a gem, I especially love his subtlety and often philip glass like minimalism...yet never detached. My faves are the Golden Bowl and Soldier's Daughter Never Cries...
@megaswenson...the car was a prop. It was borrowed for the film and dismantled and made to look rustic. In reality it was in great condition and had to be restored back to original state before being give back to owner. I think this is discussed in one of Elia Kazan's interview books.
