Salmagundi

A variable ensemble, playing music from the 17th and 18th centuries, specializing in popular, dance and theatre music. Like the 18th century salad "salmagundi", we are a mixture of instruments, which includes hammer dulcimore, flute, guitar, recorder, viola da gamba and cello, and all manner of combinations of these. We wear 18th century garb, and have many years' experience performing at public and private events in New York.
