During this time of economic turmoil, people in the Southland are struggling more than ever to provide for themselves and their families. The unemployment rate continues to rise at levels not seen since the Great Depression, and for many in our community, basic necessities - such as adequate food and proper shelter -are increasingly out of reach. The Salvation Army helps to enhance our community safety net by shielding the vulnerable and sheltering our neighbors during this challenging economic storm.

How come homeless people are not allowed to live in any of the $6 BILLION in housing owned by the Salvation Army Church THAT WERE DONATED FOR THE HOMELESS?
