Born and raised below sea level in New Orleans. I went to my first Saints Game when I was 5. I have been a trash talkin die hard Saints fan my whole life. My dogs name is Gumbo and I have been a season ticket holder since the 80's. I watched the Superdome being built as a kid with a Saints lunchbox in my little hand. I watched the Dome Patrol dominate. I saw Hakeem flubberate. I watched Brooks deflate. I even thought Katrina would wash away the Saints. Now I Believe that everything is just a Brees. I have been waiting my whole life for this season and I have not stopped smiling yet. I bleed Black n Gold and piss Fleur de Lis.
Best Saints Moment: I was able to get onto the field for the Dome "Re Opening" MNF game against the Falcons in 2006. I was front row for the pre game concert with Greenday and U2. I was so close I could see Bono's nose hair. Then I saw the field crew setting up the blow up Saints tunnel. So, I walked over very casual and snuck into the Saints tunnel like I owned it. I stood to the side as the team filled it up. They were bouncing all around me and shaking the ground. I stood there and slapped a few of them on the back as they ran onto the field. I then ran back up to my seat and arrived (with a Dome Foam) just in time for that "Glorious Moment" punt block and TD!
My Updated Greatest Moment: Hanging out in the French Quarter with a couple 100 thousand of my closest friends watching the Saints become 2009 Super Bowl Champions. It was finally "next year"....
