Insaneclown. The night I posted that comment I was tired. And I have gotten more reply's from all over the world about it. As I cut, copied and pasted it in comments boxes at every major and minor news site as well. And my wording mislead many as to what I was Ranting about. And it was not about support for Mubarak on way or the other. It was my outrage at his taking down the Egyptian peoples Inet and Cell phones. I was saying to Obama DEFEND THE INTERNET by Letting Mubarak know that, that was intolerable. Since Mubarak has been getting US Aid dollars. That would have been a good lever. Hope that explains it. Sorry for my poor wording.

You are correct insaneclown. My thinking is that if that "KILL THE INTERNET BUTTON" legislation gives the president too much power As he will be able draw on that law for whatever reason by simply stating "ITS A MATTER OF NATIONAL SECURITY" Or what ever else can be proffered as a "NATIONAL EMERGENCY" Like for instance that which has happened in Egypt this past week. Just imagine if you will.Hypothetically speaking. That one of the as yet to be released banking documents points a finger at say 911 conspirators, and they are not Arab terrorists? And the American people take to the streets wanting blood or a new
government? Just food for thought.

Just btw, whether or not a law passes does NOT affect the government, if they really wanted to shut the internet off they would. A law allowing it doesn't have to be in place, they could just order every ISP in the country to shut down or they will be forcefully shut down, simple as that. Can you spell HURR DURRRRRRRRRRR? By the way, you saying that we need to step up to other countries is what made me say that about war. If you speak your mind to troubled countries expect war.
