The drummer is Alan White, who joined Yes not long after (replacing Bill Bruford). He is also plays on Lennon's "Imagine" album. He does a particularly nice job on "I Don't Want to Be a Soldier..." with its most elusive downbeats.

Live vocals, lip-synced instruments? Seems like it. Vocals certainly different from the single/album. Plus he seems to forget the words at the end of the 2nd verse. He was ALWAYS forgetting the words to this one when singing it live!
