Scott Howe has won awards for his work as a writer, filmmaker, graphic and web designer, music composer, and painter. After attending college, he wrote and produced radio commercials, industrial videos and television commercials. In addition to his work behind the scenes, he also created numerous character voices for on-air radio spots while working as a freelance sound engineer.

His interest in films and filmmaking began at an early age when his father introduced him to the original 1933 film, King Kong. He followed his passion for film into college, where he studied filmmaking, television production, and film history. His writings on the silent film era have been published, both in popular film books and journals.
