About this user

Sachi is a Japanese Shiba Inu. The name 'Sachi' means 'happiness', 'blessing', and 'good luck' in Japanese. True to her name, Sachi is a very happy dog. Since Shiba Inu is a Japanese breed, I wanted to give her a name in Japanese. 'Sachi' is short enough for the dog to remember, and for non-native speakers of Japanese as well, it is easy to pronounce.

Shiba inu is the smallest of the six Japanese native breeds (Akita, Hokkaido, Kai, Kisyu, Shiba, Shikoku). All these breeds have been designated as natural treasures of Japan (shiba inu in 1936). In the US, Shiba Inu was recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC) in 1993, and joined the non-sporting group.

Sachi holds AKC (American Kennel Club) Obedience Companion Dog (CD) and Rally Novice (RN) titles. She also passed AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test.

I started filming Sachi in 2001. This channel includes movie clips of Sachi from old days as well as the most recent ones. I hope some of the clips bring you smile and brighten your day.
