My association with the Guitar goes back to my school days in Mumbai when I laid my hands on a old bent out of shape Guitar, learnt a few things on the guitar by observing friends play. My biggest handicap as some would put it is that a Guitar needs a good voice to support and the combination of vocals and strings makes the performance presentable to an audience. I had no singing skills and after finishing my education I lost access to friends who were good singers. I really had no motivation to play after I settled down in life until a few years ago when I chanced upon a few fingerpicking tutorials on youtube and decided to restring the Guitar and start over again. The very first composition I learnt through tabs ( I cant read music!) was a classical guitar piece called "Romance" which is an excellent piece to learn fingerpicking (...although a little advanced for some who have never played the guitar). The second peice which gave me the ability to do my own arrangements of popular songs from Bollywood was my own fingerstyle arrangement of the song from the film "Hum Tum" which incidently is my first upload on Youtube. It took a good 3-4 months to arrange and practice fingerpicking at the same time for this song. I have never looked back since then..

I started this channel to upload some of my own arrangements/interpretation of popular songs. My intention is not to teach nor do I have tabs to give out for my arrangements.

This channel is a journey for me and hopefully some point in future my uploads will be better then the ones I have posted so far. I do appreciate your feedback on what you like or dislike in a constructive way for my improvement. I do this just as a hobby and rarely play in front of a live audience, just for myself and sometimes for all of you on youtube. Thanks for stopping by my channel.
