About the Author

Shaykh-ul-Islam Prof Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is a prolific author, speaker, philosopher, political thinker and reviver of classical Islamic Sciences. He has authored and published over 400 books and delivered over 6000 lectures (in Arabic, Urdu and English), on wide ranging of subjects. Some of the written works of Shaykh ul Islam include:

Dalail ul Barakat (a masterpiece in Arabic literature, written in the style of the well-read Dalail ul Khayrat of Imam Jazuli, written nearly 1,000 years ago)
Minhaj us Sawi (Hadith collection compiled in the pattern and style of Imam Nawawis Riyad us Salihin and Khatib Tabrizis Mishkat ul Masabih)
Mawlid un Nabi (s) (the largest ever written work on the subject, consisting of 1,000 pages);
Badr ut Tamam (a vast collection of Ahadiths on sending salat and salam on the Beloved Prophet (s), written in the style of Ibn Qayyims Jila ul Afham and Imam Sakhawis al Qawl ul Badi`).
The Sirah collection is made up of 14 large volumes, the largest in the Urdu language.

He has also made sima` (heard recital of Ahadith) in the dars lessons of Muhaddith al Azam Pakistan Mawlana Sardar Ahmad al Muhaddith Laylpuri (head Muhaddith and Hadith scholar during his time of Pakistan).
