Hahaha the old rattle n clank 6.2l brings me back to y childhood. Now we all drive cummins powered dodges. My dad was gonna drop in a 6.5l with the 6.2l heads, injection pump n injectors with the 6.5l turbo. lol

Not to shabby for a stock first gen. My 90 5 speed I could pull out to pass a car from 80kmh and pull back in at 140kmh. My 93 will go from 80km/h to 155km/h just from passing a car.

@EZ30Loyale Either way they can't compare with a cummins for reliability, fuel mileage and all that torque down low in the rpm range. The 7.3l would be the ONLY ford diesel I would ever own and I'd own a dirtymax first.

@smokeypwr I'm hitting 40psi on my new 93 I bought when I wrote of my 90 just over a month ago but this truck has some serious mods done to it just needs a bigger turbo now.

@conkylahey Oh I was up 4x4ing by rockcreek with my cousin yesterday in about a foot n a half of snow. The 93 took it like a champ, My 90 woulda been stuck so fast in the snow. Plowed through a few 3 and a half foot snowbanks like they were not even there. lol

@grimreaper4227 Yeah there not bad. My 90 with about 280 felt faster off the line but it had stock tires on it and no big heavy 1 ton cab n chassie frame with a steel flat bed on it.

Oh uh my new 400hp 93 tarts easier with no heater grid in that weather. You guys don't deserve that cummins.

Talk about EGT's OMFG lol. My 93 blows more soot until about 15 pounds boost. I just took the stack off mine yesterday actually to put the 3" mandrel bent exhaust back on to pass inspection then it's onto a 4" DE kit. But the stack could still smoke people out especially tailgates.

Glad the dodge wasn't a diesel I'd go kill myself if a ford pulled my truck out of a mudhole.

Man that's like my 93 but Mines dumping out almost 400hp on 35's and a 6" lift with big bumpers n a flatbed.

How big is the lift? Wrecked my 90 4x4 5 speed with 28- hp n bought a 370hp 5 speed 93 with a 6 inch lift and love it. It even rides better then my stock height 90 did and this 93 is a 1 ton.

Man tune that thing pump better. My 93 with 100hp pods, cai, exhaust, pump maxed but tuned, 16cm turbo housing and fuel pin smokes less and I run big 35" tires.
