About this user

I've always been interested in Design and Film. I discovered the art of " movie making " when I borrowed my parents JVC mini-vhs camera to shoot stuff with my friends. I submitted my first festival film back in 2002. It involved a group of us kids messing around on BMX bikes, dirtbikes and 4 wheelers.

When I was in high school I never really had a set idea for what I was going to take, or what I wanted to do with my life. When I was applying for different schools and programs in Sudbury, I came across the Graphic Design program. I can't see my life any different.

I graduated from Cambrian College of Applied Arts and Technology with an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design.

Going from a mini-vhs to mini dv, I embarked into the DSLR world of shooting video. When I picked up my first DSLR the Panasonic GH-1. I landed a freelance job with the YMCA Employment Services. They wanted me to shoot and direct a web commercial talking about the services and programs they offer. A couple of months after the first commercial, they asked me to come back and make a second commercial focusing on a few other of their services including the Newcomer Services.

With all of that coming into play, I applied for the Web Designer job for YMCA Sudbury. I am currently employed with them as their Web and Graphic Designer.
