    300 pounds doesn't take that long, really, and I don't want to spring for the electric machine. And the kid was instructed to catch out stems that had made it through - he was knowledgeable and safe about what he was doing. Thanks for the warning, however.

    Torchidman - The caps on the airlocks are there to keep insects and other junk from getting into the air locks. The insects tend to get caught and die - don't know if they were trying to lay eggs or what. Anyway, the caps got in the way of filling and emptying the air locks of water, and I found...
