Typically, text is printed and displayed in black and white. Well, why not display text in color? By assigning each letter of the alphabet a different color, it is possible to create a color alphabet. It can either retain the original shapes of the traditional alphabet, assume some other shape, or do a combination of both.
Why bother? Well, I find a color alphabet aesthetically pleasing. I also suspect (but have no proof) that a color alphabet would increase reading interest and comprehension.
