One of my more favorite songs from the "Timeless" album. His vocals and the style of background music (hint of Sinatra instead of The 4 Seasons, as the "Solo" album had Frankie Valli solos with The 4 Seasons providing the music) fits in well with both the Baby Boomer and WWII generations, as wel...

Damn, why can't Bob Pantano on WOGL play this on his "Saturday Night Dance Party." It fits in very well with the majority of the disco songs he play. Even Jerry "The Geator with the Heater" Blavat would play this because he help get Frankie and the Season on the charts back in 1962.

In Philadelphia, we have the "Geater" (Jerry Blavat). After his Bandstand days, he D-Jayed at WCAM in Camden, NJ (he today broadcasts on 92.1 FM in Vineland, NJ and 88.5 FM in Philly) and he would play music without the prohibition of a playlist typed up by a station program director. Because o...

One should note that the 1883 eruption was the second big bang in the geological history of the island. "Original Krakatoa," which was hypothesized as a single volcanic cone, blew up 60,000 yrs. ago (when Neanderthals and wooly mammoths still roamed the earth) and created the first caldera. The...
Love the 45 version of September Rain. The version from the Timeless album sounds more like a song that would better fit a requiem mass.
