RustySoul was created by Shawn and Stephanie Robinson.

Stephanie is currently fulfilling her bachelors degree in Vocal Performance from New Mexico State University. She maintains her own private vocal studio and teaches drama at Mesilla Valley Christian Schools in Las Cruces, NM. The mezzo performs as often as possible. Stephanie has most recently performed as the first vocalist to sing with the New Horizons Symphony Orchestra, performing Mahler's 'Kindertotenlieder.'

Shawn recieved his bachelors in Music Education from Western Kentucky University and obtained a Masters in Conducting from NMSU. Shawn is currently the head of MVCS's Performing Arts Department, teaching music theory and band. He spends his free time conducting various ensembles such as New Horizons Symphony Orchestra and Voz Vaqueros, the Singing Men of Las Cruces. His favorite concerts thus far have been conducting 'Kindertotenlieder' and 'Three Japanese Dances.'

The two plan to travel and explore their musical potential--as maestro and mezzo.
