Did you have to install a bullet guide to get your Bulgarian mags to feed reliably? I just bought a Saiga in 5.45x39 and I'm trying to find out online if I should just install a bullet guide or if I could just buy Bulgy mags and call it good.

@stepheneridania Yeah, I read on Tapco's website that it's only the Saiga .308 that has that upward trigger.

In my mind @hickok45, the Russians make some really good guns and now those really good guns are in the hands of American patriots like us :D

As other people have said here: You shouldn't have a real problem with the bolt sticking once it has been thoroughly cleaned. It's the cosmoline (as has been stated in the comments already). Once that's been taken care of (mineral spirits, break cleaner, moderate polishing of the reciever, etc.)...

Yeah, I agree with a lot of the people here that the study had a lot of BS - esp. calling it "controlled". But still, there's a lot of good info here on how to react in an emergency like that and also about the reality of how we handle emergency situations.
