This is (could've been better written but who cares) the basic reason I find most YT political debates as pointless:

The rules of this game by people:

"Rule 1: All politicians are lying n self-obsessed, they only care about their money and corporations. They also have strong influence on the media. They lie, manipulate and deceive consistantly in large groups in order to achieve this goal.

Rule 2: All politicians who say the stuff I believe are the few who tell the truth. They are always being covered up arn't allowed to get their word out. No matter they got elected, as part of rule 2 they cannot get elected because they are crushed by rule 1. They are generally selfless and only say the obvious.

Rule 3: Rule 2 is not in contradiction to rule 1 because rule 2 covers people who agree with me"
