you're the first person to properly test a shotgun mic. thanks for uploading. Would you choose this mic over the NTG 2 and the AT897? due to my budget, I will be using the same shotgun mic for indoor, and outdoor use.

I was wondering if you could test it's polar pattern quality, you can do this by comparing the sound between talking directly into the shotgun mic, on the front. and then talking to the side and the back of the microphone. this is to test it's directional qualities. thank you very much.

thanks for the review. I suggest you test each mic's side rejection by talking and turning the mic 360 and hear the difference between them. I personally like the audio technica mic. thanks again
