Robert Dmitri Prince Rucker Jr. II better known by his stage name Rucker was born in Decatur, Ga March 12, 1991. As a young child Rucker has always had a unique passion for music, such artist like Michael Jackson, James Brown & R.kelly etc. At age 5 he has had the opportunity to perform for many government officials to celebs around the metropolitan Atlanta area. But he did not get serious until he entered in the Apollo at age 9 which he became a finalist in the state of Georgia. At the age of 13 he pushed even harder and ended up winning to be apart of Praise 97.5 Choir Contest (Radio One Inc).
As a Part of the choir he got a chance to sing fully in front of Atlantas top Gospel Celebs & different events which he says It was most def a different field for me but it gave me the ability to find different ranges that I would never think of, a wonderful experience. After the choir Rucker kelp pressing on & joined the Freddie Hendricks Youth Ensemble of Atlanta where he was pushed to the next limit, where he was taught the art, love, & beauty of real music. The Ensemble showed Rucker that he should give two hundred percent through everything he does. At the age of 16 he joined the Tapac Amaru Shaker Center for the Arts, where he learned more about the business side of the music industry, how to handle money & management. From there on Rucker decided to start working on his own project at 18 which he is currently working on.
Rucker says, Rite now Im in the process in finalizing my music, it is currently in development as we speak. I been working real hard on it & I had to change it up to better everything. When you listen to my music it is real R&B, no bubblegum songs I am just bring that real R&B to the table, my mission in life is to become the greatest entertainer because this is all I know & love to do!
