I'm inaugurating this new channel with the release of my latest personal project: "Narusegawa Live!"

This almost six minutes long animated movie is my "demo", to showcase my skills as an animator, including all the other skills that are required for the making of a short animated movie such as:

- 3d organic and inorganic modeling.
- Skeleton creation.
- Rigging.
- Skinning.
- Lighting.
- Physics simulations.
- Rendering.
- Compositing.
- Editing.
- Typesetting.
- Encoding.

"Narusegawa Live!" is inspired on a real life concert given by the voice actresses of a popular anime in Japan, called "ロブひな" ("Robu Hina" = "Love Hina") which aired in 2000. It focuses in a particular singer, Yui Horie. However, instead of showing her, the character which she gives her voice to is the one represented. Everything else was reproduced as close as possible to the real event, from the singer's movements to the stage, the crowd, the lighting and even the cameras.

I'm very aware of many things I can still fix a little bit more; a small "jump" of the hair movement, more samples for the blur on the reflection on the ground, or even how the shadows edge looks, and so on. But I think that all the things you deliver are really unfinished jobs since you can always improve them. One shouldn't get stuck looking for absolute perfection, for we ought to move forward to other projects, and apply then, what we have learned from the past.
