@willpw314 Yeah you're right but thats in a perfect situation. Seems like the driver of the redline knew what he was doing though cuz he hooked up really good. But you are right, a stock ion won't beat a gt500 but the gt's and v-6 mustangs don't do too well.

@Donnyd21 The Saturn could have dropped to second too. I have mine tuned so it redlines @7200 rpm and second gear gets to just over 70mph. Even if the corvette drops to second i think the outcome would still have been the same. Not hating on vette's though. They are fast as hell and you gotta mod...

I have an 05 redline with a slipping clutch (half throttle sends the rpm screaming and nothing to the wheels) and i raced an eclipse gt with my wife and two friends in the car and he still couldn't keep up.
