ok, jazz influenced bossa nova, but i'd rather say bossa nova had a stronger influence to jazz than the other way around.in the '50 jazz mostly used chords with the 7th maybe 9th at a time where bossa nova used the 13th, three alterations in one chord, sequences of alterated chords.....

to anyone who is thinking this is bossa nova: no it's not. The rythm and line of a bossa nova meldoy would never be this simple, i t would have synkopes and alterations. so this is just a nice pop song styled to bossa nova and sinatra, thats it. go listen to "desafinado-joao gilberto" if you want...
