I guess I could have just said that his influences are still traceable to modern drummers...

It took a couple years of practicing the same thing over and over which, is basically a riff generally referred to as 'quads'. Simply ,it's 4 evenly spaced notes :

RH, LH, RF, RF...

OK< let me get this right...."Freak Show"....well, on the surface, that doesn't sound too bad...I combine Star Wars, Darabuka, a 70's vistalite kit, and (the mighty) Travis Barker into one 80 sec video.....I would agree....FREAK SHOW!! but then you say, 'nice kit, though'.......

well, in the case of "Quadrant 4", he's playing his Zickos Acrylic Kit just mic'd up with good mics, analog tape, and vintage compressors....all pretty stock stuff for the day (1975 or 6) with I think Remo Ambassadors..... We used to call Billy COBham, Billy GODham. I saw him recent...

hahaha....yeah, gotta love those vans, too! BTW, they are really great for drumming. Spaun makes a whole kit like that snare. There's a tutorial on YT. The drums are made well (usa) and sound great. They are priced moderately. I paid 450 for the snare. The whole kit with lights is ove...
