this album sounds like if Otis Redding and Booker T. and the MG's had a jam session with early 70's glam rock Bowie. and Danger Mouse and Jack White produced it. it's a consistently good album and fun as hell to rock out to. definitely more poppy, but i personally dig it. i like their older sound...
