The other big thing to consider that I can see with this system is that you don't get clearance issues over the wheel wells. A big plus for small trucks.

A sad story indeed, but a testament to skill of mechanics. Whether or not the APU was running, the mount would have been loosened from the ice buffetting. The achilles heel of the Superfortress was fires from the very earliest units.

I love the conversion. My first one was a hairball to learn landing but once I got it I built a scaleesque one(not as detailed as yours). One note for future builds, replace the wing spars with 1/4" full span spruce and the fly wires with kevlar and you will have a tough stunt hotrod. Mine has a ...
