Sedona's Creative Video Productions established operations in Sedona, Arizona in 1987. After many years of providing video services to the general marketplace, it was realized that no one was utilizing the power of television to provide information on "what to see and do" in the Sedona region for the millions of annual visitors.

Consequentl y, RED ROCK TV16 was started and
began broadcasting in 1998 on Sedona Cablevision Channel 16, reaching over 90 percent of the lodging rooms and 10,000 homes in the region.
