You shouldn't be dating single moms anyways but if you do, don't adopt her kids.
My aunt got her second husband to adopt her 2 kids and he had 1 kid with her. Right after he adopted her kids, she divorced him and he had to pay child support until they turned 18. It is really scary and now she is on her 4th husband.
