@halflife103 : You hold the brake until you start to lose traction. Once the tires are sliding, you lose effective braking and steering. To prevent this, you release pressure on the brakes as you feel the tires start to skid. Once the tires are rolling again, you can get back on the brakes.

Does anyone else find it strange that he refers to a 1.8 L diesel as large? I have a 6.7 L I6 (408 CID) diesel and it is a mid-sized diesel. Large diesels start at 10L.
