Hal Swain and his Band play:
• Make Yourself A Happiness Pie -- Vocal chorus by Hal Swain • Wedding Bells Are Ringing For Sally -- Vocal chorus by Hal Swain • Cupid On The Cake -- Vocal chorus by Hal Swain • Here Comes The Sun- Vocal chorus by Hal Swain • On A Little Balcony In Spain -- Vocal chorus by Tom Barratt • Lizzie (Come In and Shut That Door) -- Vocal chorus by Tom Barratt and another
Originally recorded for the 8" Broadcast label in 1931, these 78rpm recordings have been remastered by this user. The sound quality is variable and not of a high standard I'm afraid, nevertheless the band may be of interest. The first four numbers made up Hal Swain's recording session of February 1931; the final two recordings were made in April.

BRITISH DANCE BANDS play SELECTIONS FROM THE SHOWS No.1
Ray Starita and his Band play a Selection from "Stand Up And Sing"
• Part 1: Stand Up And Sing; It's Not You -- Vocal chorus sung by Maurice Elwin; I Would If I Could; Keep Smiling; It's Not You • Part 2: There's Always Tomorrow; Take It Or Leave It; There's Always Tomorrow -- Vocal chorus sung by Maurice Elwin; Nobody To Take Care Of Me
Recorded in London on Wednesday, 4th February 1931.
Originally recorded for Columbia in 1931, this 12" 78rpm disc has been remastered by this user. This is a sparkling show selection from a fine British Dance Band. There is a stunning hot trumpet solo in the reprise of "It's Not You", and the band is on great form.

I was beginning to think no one cared about my videos but you have inspired me to keep going.
With a collection of over 20,000 78s I feel a need to preserve the records for ours and future generations.
Thanks! Andrew
