I think this song doesn't suit your voice... You need to focus on different riffs, and you don't need to have so much reverb if you ask me.. the recording is home made I assume so I won't comment on that... but I expected really more from you and your voice.. the songs you cover are much better....

@altarofsodom I don't think so, Trivium or As I Lay Dying or In Flames and such use mostly 6 string, and sometimes 7 string, but In Flames uses baritones mostly... Trivium is more of a Drop D or Drop C# (In Waves) or D tuning... no seven string needed... but without a FR you can do them all...
