I had a bestfriend. He was my dog. His name was Toby when i was 9 we saw a dog on the street by the trash. My mom got him in the car and as soon as i layed eyes on him.. i loved him. I did EVERYTHING with him. I even wrote a book about him. Year later, He got hit by a car and broke his hip. Me, and my too friends stayed with him, He would sleep in the garage and i would lay out there with him. He survived with a scar on his head. I talked to Toby.. My friend told me, "You know he cant hear you.." and i told him "I know he can." I would get off the bus and he would come and even my bus driver loved him. Years later... i got off the bus and he didnt come... my bus driver asked, where is Toby? I didnt know. I went to look and thats when my mom told me that my dad had taken him away because he was messing with the other dogs. I screamed at my dad and my mom had to take me around for a car ride to calm me down. I cried and didnt talk to anyone. Soon, my mom opened the door when i got off the bus and there ran Toby running at me. I fell to my knees and cried and laughed. I smiled at him and i was so happy. About a year later, i noticed Toby was gone again. I walked in my house and my mom stood there with Toby's collar and told me he ran off. I started to look for him at about 4:00 and i ended at almost 9:00, holding his collar that my mom found on the ground in my hands, i began to cry. I was broken.. i looked everyday and i would hear his heart warming barks, but they were my imagination. I miss Toby. Hes still with me and i hold his collar in my hand everyday. I still talk to him... i searched forever but he never came back.. I miss him so much and i dedicate this song I miss you by Avril Lavigne to him and i will always believe he will come back. I love you Toby
