Astor Mcalister was born and raised in Buffalo NY. He was born on 01/13/86. He was raised by his mother and his grandparents. Unlike some people when Astor was born he had conjestive heart failure. It was a possibility that it was going to be a 50/50 chance that he wasn't going to make it. But god had a plan for him and he made it. At 2 yrs old he had complications from conjestive heart failure and had to go back. But Astor was a little boy with a lot of fight in him. When Astor was a little boy he began watching alot of musical entertainers like Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston and Stevie Wonder just to name a few. Before u know it Astor was imitating everything that he seen on Bet and mtv. His favorite artist was none other than Michael Jackson. Astor practiced for hours and hours untill he had the dance moves to prefection. Astor first love was to be a basketball player. As he was playing basketball. He discovered that he really had a talent for singing. So in Grammar School and High School he would sing down the halls all the time. Some people liked it some people didn't. But Astor knew he had some type of gift. Of course he would get in trouble for it, but Astor didn't care because he loved to sing. At 16 he joined the Friendship Baptist Youth Choir where he learned the importance of strengthning his voice and also learning the importance of having Jesus Christ in his life. Which is now the most important person is his life. Astor is now 22 and he is trying 2 make a Album/CD and also get singed by a major record company. The CD is called "It's jus me".
